The first video where Norbz goes over how to get started laying down your first beats is going to get you up and running like a pro sooner than you could have ever imagined. I have thoroughly enjoyed every second I’ve spent learning and banging out beats on my own copy of BTVSolo and I highly recommend this software.

I picked up this beat software the other day and, like a kid in a candy store, threw caution to the wind and started messing around and mixing beats like I knew what I was doing. I have to be honest, my first track sounded about like I was trying to pull the bottom pan out of an over-stuffed cabinet. Fortunately for me, DUBTurbo comes with instructional videos. In the time it takes you to finish reading reviews, I had a good grasp on how to get started and the beats were rolling.

As far as music makers go, DUBTurbo gives you all of the control you need and all of the options to make killer tracks, whether you’re into hip hop beats, rap beats, urban beats or even techno industrial. It comes fully stocked with a 16 track sequencer, more than most amateurs would even dream of using, but perfect for when you’re ready to call yourself a professional beat maker. Plus, with 44.1 stereo quality, there’s no worry about grainy tracks or feedback.

Used to tapping out beats yourself? That’s no problem! DUBTurbo lets you assign hotkeys for different instruments. It’s as easy as typing on a keyboard. Keyboard triggers let you make music and record as you go. This is especially good if you don’t have a fat bankroll to blow on your own synthesizer, which you’d more than likely just be hooking up to a MIDI sequencer in your PC anyway.

Now me personally, I’m not much of a rhythm guy. When I’m making music on my PC, I take full advantage of DUBTurbo’s 10 pad (yes, I said 10 pad) drum machine and draw in my beats, then sample them in real-time to make sure I’m getting the perfect beat I was going for.

Now it never fails that I’ll be out and about talking about some of the killer beats I’ve been able to mix up and people want to hear what I’m talking about. While I could burn CDs in full stereo sound, I’m just not that guy. But it’s no problem. DUBTurbo has an online beat machine where you can make your own beats online. So I don’t have to carry my equipment around with me, I can just log in and start working with my beat creator as if I was at home. Granted, it’s a little slower, but making your beats online still comes out with the same quality sound.

If you’re in the scene and want a better method to make your own beats or if you’ve never touched an instrument in your life, but love music, then there’s no reason to look anywhere for music maker software besides DUBTurbo.

The main reason I wanted my own software was really just to make background beats or music for my Youtube videos. I was looking for beat making software I could download and install on my own computer, and eliminate dealing with having to login to an online system and deal with slow performance issues due to slow network speeds and server access limitations.

I wanted a clean, simple interface that would run fast and give me tons of options and tools to make killer beat mixes and sweet music.  I was fortunate not to waste my time and money on inferior programs that would be difficult, slow and problematic. Well, I was lucky to find DUBturbo!!! This software is Rockin’ and the performance is great…ok, I did have to check out the FAQ and Support page on DUBturbo’s site and make a few OS system modifications to get this beat making software to perform up to its legendary hype, and after making the easy adjustments I was cranking out the beats left and right.

Don’t waste your time and money looking for anything better, because this is the software you’re looking for and you’ll see why, once you try it out for yourself.

I can’t tell you how many different brands of audio mixing software I’ve used in the past, but I CAN tell you DUBturbo has worked for me. Basically, it’s like having a really good, digital audio work station! As a digital filmmaker, I decided to take the initiative and start composing my own pieces of music for my video projects on the web. Thankfully, that has been so easy to do with this program.

Also, I am finding that I really enjoy the process! It’s just so fun experimenting with a variety of beats & styles – there are literally thousands of beats to choose from. The combinations and the fusion of styles are endless! For me personally, I like to create both basic and complex types of music – not only for use in my films, but I also like to put together mixtapes for my own personal use.

In a nutshell: I’ve found DUBturbo to be the best there is out there at making awesome music, and I hope this review is helpful!
